Commercial Diving Exams

Occupational Health Services provides high quality, comprehensive exams which address the special medical screening needs of both commercial and recreational divers. The underwater environment presents special physical, medical, and emotional challenges to the diver, and our highly experienced medical staff perform these exams with confidence and precison.

• Examinations are performed by experienced physicians.

• A comprehensive medical history review and examination protocol is followed

• Additional merdical screening and testing is performed in order to assess for medical fitness to dive.

• Our staff coordinate all aspects of testing, to ensure a seamless examination process.

• Comprehensive Medical History- Evaluation for Diving Fitness
• Respiratory Questionnaire
• Complete Physical Examination
• Vital Signs: Blood Pressure, Pulse, Respiration
• Vision Screening
• Audiometry
• Pulmonary Function (Spirometry)
• Body Composition (Body Fat %)
• Electrocardiogram
• Chest x-ray
• Laboratory Studies: Blood Chemistry Profile, Lipids Panel,  Complete Blood Count, Urinalysis
